The SoundBodyApproach

The SoundBodyApproach was born from years of listening, to bodies, to women, to the subtle rhythms that move beneath our busy lives.

It is a practice that brings together movement, breath, sound, and awareness to support strength, balance, and inner regulation through every season of a woman’s life. Rather than asking the body to perform or push, it invites a deeper conversation, one rooted in rhythm, sensation, and presence.

Here, movement becomes a way to reconnect with the body’s intelligence. Sound becomes a bridge between the physical and the unseen. Rest is honoured as part of the process, not something to earn.

The SoundBodyApproach is not about fixing what is broken. It is about remembering what is already wise.

Hello, my name is Anne.

I have spent almost over 2 decades working in the fitness and wellness space, walking alongside women through strength training, movement, healing, and change. Over time, I came to understand something fundamental, what supports the body in one phase of life may no longer serve it in another.

As women, our bodies are not static. We move through cycles, hormonally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. Yet so much of the wellness world asks us to override these rhythms rather than honour them.

Alongside my work in movement, I am a sound alchemist. Through years of working with sound in both one-to-one and group settings, I have witnessed how vibration and frequency can soften the nervous system, release held tension, and open spaces of awareness that movement alone sometimes cannot reach.

Sound works on a cellular level. Every cell in the body responds to vibration. When sound, breath, and movement come together with intention, the body often finds its own way back to balance.

The SoundBodyApproach is the meeting point of these experiences. It is informed by ongoing observation, study, and research into women’s physiology, nervous system health, and hormonal transitions, including menopause-informed training principles guided by the work of Dr Stacy Sims.

But more than anything, it is shaped by listening, to women, to bodies, and to the quiet wisdom that emerges when we slow down enough to feel.

Why This Work Exists

I created The SoundBodyApproach because I saw a need for a different way.

A way that honours both strength and softness.

A way that respects rest as much as effort.

A way that supports women not just physically, but emotionally and energetically too.

This work is for women who want to feel at home in their bodies again.

For women navigating change, growth, or transition.

For women who sense there is more available when movement becomes mindful and rhythm is restored.

An Invitation

The SoundBodyApproach is an invitation to move with awareness, to breathe with intention, and to listen inwardly.
It is a relationship, with your body, your rhythm, and yourself.

The SoundBodyApproach will be launching around Spring Equinox.

If you feel drawn to explore movement and sound in a way that feels grounded, supportive, and deeply respectful of the female body, you are warmly invited to join.
